The food is amazing. We have even walked into some massive tourist traps and had our taste buds blown out of the water. Matisse has started eating off a fork she is that desperate to get amongst it. The Argentinian ribs were her personal favourite. No jokes. She was putting on a massive show, much to the entertainment of the waiter and Spanish family next to us. Banging the table, squealing, drooling, inhaling the food. She inherits her appetite from..... "Her father."
Here's some things we have seen...
Above is the roof of La Catedral. It was a grande view of Barcelona. Below is a pic from inside. Matisse looks a bit Asian in that pic. Weird.
On a side note, I had some reservations about breast feeding in public, and have taken discreet to a new level. I didn't take a picture of the woman breast feeding her four or five year old child, whilst getting out of a packed elevator and walking around the roof of La Catedral. If it's ok in the house of God, it must be ok in the streets.
We went to some markets and a kind man gave Matisse a banana, which his business partner added to the bill, just one euro. So generous. She ate it through the skin and totally cracked it when I tried to peel it for her.
We also went to the Picasso museum and they banned photos. Shame. I was going to put some up here and pretend I had been painting from the terrace. My favourite picture was "the dwarf." Here it is, I stole it from google. In your face, museum guards.
I realise this is not his most famous style, but it might be his best, to me. Which art gurus want to take the bait on this statement?
Also, I noticed lots of people taking selfies on the steps of the museum. Though there wasn't signs to indicate where they were. I thought that was odd. Does someone know something I don't.
